The Civic Youth Alliance empowers youth and young adults to become informed, engaged leaders in their communities and in our American Constitutional Republic. Rooted in the independent spirit and civic traditions that define New Hampshire, our mission is to cultivate a strong passion for civic involvement, a spirit of service to country, and personal resilience and well-being by offering grants, educational resources, and meaningful opportunities that build a deeper understanding of democratic principles, encourage active participation, and promote physical, mental, and emotional strength.

We envision a future in which every young voice contributes meaningfully to a vibrant, inclusive democracy, grounded in compassion, resilience, purpose, and a shared commitment to the enduring ideals that have shaped the United States. Inspired by New Hampshire’s proud “Live Free or Die” heritage and its long tradition of town hall engagement, we believe that sustained civic involvement empowers young people to help build stronger communities and a better future for all.

To help make this vision a reality, Civic Youth Alliance provides pedagogical and other resources, funding, and guidance that empower young people to translate civic ideals into real-world action. From local communities across the Granite State to neighborhoods throughout the nation, we are committed to equipping the next generation with the knowledge, skills, and determination to participate actively, lead with conviction, and carry forward the proud tradition of civic responsibility that strengthens our country.
